I’ve spent twenty-five years running a company.

I did not leave the boardroom or go soft.

I decided to go deeper,  and what I found on the other side of the title was a threshold every

woman I know is either standing at, walking through, or pretending she isn't.

I'm Kyra Faison-Gardner. Author. Way-Shower. Founder and CEO.

I speak to rooms of women who are done performing certainty they don't feel

and ready to claim the sovereignty they've already earned.

The talk

Joyfully irreverEnt:

A Fireside Return

An Intimate 90-Minute Journey into Midlife Sovereignty, Laughter, and Inner Authority

There is a transition that begins the moment the roles that once defined us start to dissolve:  the title, the marriage, the mothering, the youth. No one sends flowers for this kind of ending. No one tells you it's actually a beginning.

This talk names it. Out loud. In a room.

For women who have been quietly asking themselves the question

and assuming they're the only ones.

What the room experiences:

1.  Memoir Readings. Passages from Edge of the Woods, read the way they were written;  plainly and without performance. This is where the room goes still.

2.  The Rule-Breaker's Audit. A short, sharp exercise naming the invisible rules women agree to without ever being asked and which ones are due for renegotiation.

3.  Guided Future-Self Visualization. A grounded practice  that’s not woo or a script. It lets each woman meet the version of herself she's becoming.

4.  The Pocket Permission-Slip Exchange. Every woman leaves holding something physical: permission, written down, to stop apologizing for the threshold she's standing on.

Best for: women's leadership retreats, private clubs, boutique wellness and destination spas, executive women's forums, alumnae gatherings.

Two More Rooms I Hold

Beyond the Threshold: The Rise of the Sovereign Woman After 50

Every close relationship runs on a contract nobody wrote down out loud.

I'm only lovable when I'm useful. My needs are a burden.

If I keep the peace, you won't leave.

This talk brings those hushed agreements into the light

and gives women language to renegotiate them without guilt,

without an explosion,

and without waiting for permission that isn't coming.

Best for: women's circles, therapy and coaching communities,

relationship-focused retreats, book clubs built

around midlife and reinvention.

Wild Devotion: Leading From Sovereignty, Not Sacrifice

Twenty-five years of running a company taught me

that burnout dressed up as dedication is still burnout.

This talk is built for women leading teams, boards,

and organizations who are ready to trade self-erasure

for unmatched executive clarity, the kind that comes

only from a leader who has stopped

negotiating away her own terms.

Best for: corporate women's leadership programs,

executive offsites, professional women's associations,

company ERGs.

What Rooms Are Saying

"Kyra brings a rare combination of executive clarity and deep, sacred warmth.

Her message redefines what it means to age as a woman."

"The village doesn't need us to diminish ourselves." -Cynthia

“Love your brand of celebrating the beauty in the becoming.”   -Leslie

“I LOVED this. The line about women finding one another really stayed with me.

One thing I've noticed, both personally and professionally, is that so many women are building full, meaningful lives.

They're developing careers, friendships, hobbies, purpose, and a stronger sense of who they are.

I sometimes wonder if that's part of why so many women are no longer willing to shrink themselves

or settle for relationships that don't align with the life they've worked hard to create. It resonated deeply.”  - Robin

The Woman Behind The Talk

Twenty-five years as a founder and CEO. A rebuilding of my own life that taught me everything this work is built on. Author of the memoir Edge of the Woods. I don't believe women become less valuable with age.  I believe we become more whole, and I built my entire body of work to prove it.

I'm not here to tell a room who to become. I'm here to say the true thing out loud first, so everyone else in the room can finally stop pretending they haven't been thinking it too.
