Many women approach community building from the outside in.
They begin with platforms.
Marketing plans.
Membership models.
Content calendars.
But the communities and connections that genuinely change lives are rarely built that way.
They begin with a woman who has become willing to sit quietly with herself long enough to ask:
-Who am I now?
-What matters to me now?
-What kind of conversations am I longing to have?
-What kind of women am I hoping to gather beside me?
And perhaps most importantly:
-What kind of room do I want to create?
Before You Build the Circle, Build the Fire
This workshop is a sacred pause.
A chance to step back from strategy long enough to reconnect with the deeper heart of your work.
Together, we'll explore the foundations of intentional community through the lens of sovereignty, belonging, and authentic leadership.
Not the performative kind.
The real kind.
The kind that begins when a woman trusts her own voice enough to create a gathering place that reflects her values, her season of life, and the conversations she most wants to foster in the world.
This Workshop Is For You If…
You are a woman in midlife or beyond
You feel called to create a community, gathering, circle, salon, group, or membership experience
You're a first-time community builder seeking clarity before you begin
You want to create spaces rooted in depth, belonging, and genuine connection
You're tired of formulaic business advice and want a more human-centered approach
You want to gather people around something meaningful—but aren't quite sure where to start

What We'll Explore Together
➡ The Inner Foundation of Community Building
Before you decide who you're serving, you'll explore who you are in this season.
Because every successful community reflects its founder's clarity.
➡ The Questions That Shape Great Communities
We'll work through the deeper questions that often get overlooked:
What am I truly devoted to?
What conversations do I want to host?
What values will guide this space?
What kind of belonging am I hoping to create?
➡ The Difference Between Audience and Community
Not everyone needs followers.
Some women are being called to create intimate spaces.
We'll explore what makes a community feel alive, intimate, and sustainable.
➡ Lessons From My Own Journey
I'll share my experience creating spaces of belonging, the mistakes I've made, what surprised me, and what I've learned about gathering women in meaningful ways.
➡ Resources for Your Next Steps
You'll leave with practical resources and recommendations, including several valuable tools and communities available right here on Substack.
What This Workshop Is Not
This is not a marketing training.
This is not a funnel-building session.
This is not a business strategy intensive.
There are plenty of talented people who can help you learn how to grow an audience.
This workshop is about learning how to create a room people are grateful to enter.
A Note From Kyra
Over the years, I've become increasingly convinced that one of the greatest losses in modern life is the disappearance of meaningful gathering spaces.
Historically, women gathered.
Around tables.
Around fires.
Around shared work.
Around life itself.
We exchanged wisdom.
We witnessed one another.
We built resilience through relationships.
Many of us are feeling the absence of that today.
If you've been feeling called to create a space of your own, whether for women, creatives, seekers, leaders, or simply people longing for deeper connection, I would love to spend this time with you exploring what that might look like.
This is what building from devotion looks like.

An Invitation
The communities we most need are rarely built by experts.
They're often created by ordinary women who become brave enough to gather people around something they care deeply about.
If that sounds like you, I'd love to welcome you.
Join us for this thoughtful morning of reflection, clarity, and community-building from the inside out.
