Let’s get clear from the start on the ground we’ll be walking together.
This workshop is not a map for building a marketing funnel or a guide to monetization.
We will not be talking about scaling your business, growing your Substack, or a 5-step plan to success.
There are other great voices for that.
Modern Female Elders
Forging Intentional
Belonging.
This is a space for courageous inquiry.
This is for the woman in midlife or beyond who feels the undeniable call to gather others- perhaps for the very first time- and feels the deep responsibility to create a community that is a sanctuary, not just a space.
It’s an opportunity to build your foundation from the inside out.
Before we can design a container that can truly hold others,
we must first get fiercely, tenderly clear on the woman who is building it.
We will lean into the essential questions:
Who are YOU, now that you’ve shed so many other roles?
What is the sovereign need and desire that lives in YOU?
And from that grounded place, who are you truly calling in, and why?
I bring to this work over 25 years of experience as a founder and CEO,
now woven with my calling here on Substack as a writer,
way-shower, and weaver of belonging.
My entire focus is on elevating women in midlife and beyond.
Who are YOU, now that you’ve shed so many other roles?
What is the sovereign need and desire that lives in YOU?
And from that grounded place, who are you truly calling in, and why?
There comes a moment when the noise of the world fades, and a new quiet settles in. It is a transition rarely spoken of, yet universally
felt by women entering their elder years. You may find yourself yearning for conversations that go beyond the surface. For spaces where your lived experience is not just acknowledged, but revered. The isolation can feel heavy, but it is not a reflection of your worth—it is simply the space clearing for deeper connections.
We see you. And we recognize the profound need for a circle of peers who understand the weight, the grief, and the undeniable beauty of this transition.
The Curriculum
Week 1: The Belonging We Long For
What are we actually seeking when we say we want community? We explore the difference between being surrounded by people and feeling genuinely known, and what may have changed about our needs for connection in the second half of life.
Week 2: Belonging Without Disappearing
How do we remain sovereign while participating in meaningful relationships and communities? This is the heart of the work: boundaries, self-trust, reciprocity, and the possibility of belonging without performing, shrinking, overgiving, or becoming indispensable.
Week 3: Becoming the Place Where Belonging Can Begin
How do we take this understanding into our actual lives? We explore small, practical ways to create more meaningful connection—one conversation, invitation, relationship, or gathering at a time.
I'm Kyra Faison-Gardner—a writer, way-shower, and weaver of belonging for women navigating the thresholds between who they've been and who they're becoming.
After more than 25 years as a founder and CEO, and through my own experience of rebuilding a life and reconnecting with myself, I now create spaces where women can slow down, listen inward, and find their way back to meaningful connection—with themselves and one another.
My work weaves lived experience, storytelling, intuitive insight, spiritual feminism, and a deep reverence for the wisdom women carry as they age. I don't believe we become less valuable with age; I believe we become more whole. I don't believe I need to tell you who to become. I'm here to help you hear yourself again—and perhaps find a few women who are listening for something similar.
